Our Pageant Winners

Meet The Modern Pageant

There is a lot more to girls doing pageants than strutting on a stage or wanting to wear pretty dresses and tiaras. They are far more than just a pretty face. At FOEW, we stand for empowering women and girls, not forcing them into a stereotype. We’ve worked hard to overcome the old ‘beauty pageant’ ideas and instead have created a style of pageantry that lets the true beauty within shine.

We combined the ‘pageant’ and ‘fund-raising’ to create a modern style of pageantry – one focused on charity, inner beauty, and dedication. At FOEW, we don’t hold swimwear or lingerie rounds and our contestants are asked to wear age-appropriate outfits and make-up. Instead, we focus on the inner beauty. Each young lady is interviewed and their charitable activities are taken into account, ensuring we highlight their efforts and commitment. The girls themselves are just as dedicated to bringing charity pageantry to the world and showing that they understand difficulties some people may face and want to help. The pageant allows the girls to meet and share their experiences with other likeminded girls from all over the world. With FOEW, our contestants forge friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Holding the contest in England and having a trip to Disneyland Paris is just our small way of thanking these young ladies for all their hard work during the year.

Making A Difference to Communities

Over the last 10 years, we have reached an international total of over £359,600 thanks to our amazing contestants. This total continues to grow each year as each contestant contributes to local and worldwide causes, helping people whose lives have been affected by disaster, conflict, illness, and more.

We believe in making a difference and our contest reflects this with our key charity element. Part of our winners’ much-earned points are based on their charitable work & fundraising, our contestants are encouraged to fundraise, raise awareness, and support charities in their local communities. These dedicated young ladies are pro-active in their community and truly engage in making a difference to the people they support.

To celebrant our 1st milestone anniversary, after 10 years of supporting our founding charity Headway East Kent, we will looking to nominate other deserving charities, therefore for 2024/25 our nominated charities are Children’s with Cancer UK & Air Ambulance KSS.

Shaping the Future of Female Role Models

All our contestants are amazing ambassadors for their countries and we’re proud to say they’re excellent role models for the younger generation too. They stand out as confident, beautiful, intelligent young ladies, proving there’s more to them than just a pretty face.

We love to see how they inspire and encourage other young people to take up the charity mantle as well. They show that charity doesn’t stop when the contest does - some of our contestants have been so inspired by the people they have met and their needs that they have gone on to become doctors, therapists, and brain surgeons! many have gone in the medical professional or into supporting others

Seeing our winners become inspired by what we do and who we help never fails to make us smile. We’re proud to light that spark for our finalists who are amazing role models and are truly inspiring the younger generation.
